MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - The Seattle Mariners recalled left-hander Ryan Feierabend from Triple-A Tacoma to make Sunday's start against the Minnesota Twins.
Seattle placed right-hander Carlos Silva on the 15-day disabled list Saturday with tendinitis in his right elbow to make room on the roster.The 22-year-old Feierabend was 7-1 with a 2.04 ERA in 13 starts with Tacoma. He was pulled from his last start Wednesday after 53 pitches so he could pitch Sunday.
Feierabend has pitched with the Mariners in each of the past two seasons. He was 1-7 with a 6.92 ERA in 17 games, 11 of them starts.
