Jakubauskas' loss was the first by a big-leaguer throwing a two-hitter since Carlos Zambrano of the Cubs lost to the Padres on June 16, 2007. It was just the third two-hit loss in Seattle history, the others being LHP Mark Langston (Sept. 13, 1987) and LHP Glenn Abbott (Sept. 1, 1981).
