MEDICAL WATCH:

C Rob Johnson (mild groin strain) revealed his injury on April 27, but he played the next day.

RHP Brandon Morrow (right shoulder stiffness) was unavailable April 25-26. He didn't pitch April 28.

INF Ronny Cedeno (strained right hamstring) was out of the lineup April 23-28. He is day-to-day.

C Kenji Johjima (strained right hamstring) went on the 15-day disabled list April 16. He began playing in extended spring training April 28, and he might be activated May 1.

LHP Ryan Rowland-Smith (left triceps tendinitis) went on the 15-day disabled list retroactive to April 11. He threw a ball April 27 and April 28, but he there was no timetable for his return.

LHP Cesar Jimenez (left biceps tendinitis) went on the 15-day disabled list retroactive to March 29. He began a rehab assignment with Class AAA Tacoma on April 24, and he could be activated in early May.

LHP Ryan Feierabend (Tommy John elbow surgery in March 2009) went on the 60-day disabled list March 16.

LHP Tyler Johnson (left shoulder surgery in May 2008) started the season in the minors. He will pitch in extended spring training in late April.

RHP Chad Cordero (right shoulder surgery in July 2008) signed a minor league deal with the Mariners during the spring, and he wasn't ready for opening day. He will pitch in extended spring training in late April.
